Finnair is the flag carrier and largest airline of Finland. At the time Mirum had an established marketing relationship and in a collaboration with the technology department created an interactive globe to be used at trade shows and Expos, dubbed the ‘Finnair Globe’.
The aim at Finnair was to create a sales tool that utilised the technology of the ‘Finnair Globe’ and allow the sales team to create reports and other sales material for new and existing clients both online and offline. Whilst also keeping all materials inline with the Finnair brand guidelines

The idea was to unify existing tools; Finnair Globe and Finnair’s CRM, as well as creating new features using industry APIs. We wanted to make it easier for the sales team to present customer data, new routes and features to their clients.
After two successful discovery and design sprints, using the Google framework, we had developed the beginning of a really interesting sales tool concept for the Finnair sales team. Unfortunately luck was not on our side, this project was initiated in late 2019 and as we were ready to take the next steps in the project, the global pandemic hit and we know how Airlines fared in that.
