My current role at Smartly.io

At Smartly.io, I lead the Design System — our shared language of components, patterns, and principles that keeps product teams moving fast and designing with confidence.

Day to day, that means balancing craft and coordination: guiding the designers who shape our components and content, working hand-in-hand with engineering to keep adoption smooth, and evolving contribution models so we enable, not block, new ideas.

I treat the Design System as an internal product — with designers and engineers as our customers — planning its future, improving its usability, and making sure it grows with the platform, not against it.

More recently, my role has expanded into DesignOps, where I look after the culture side of design: our rituals, critiques, tools, and the principles that define how we think and work together.

In short, I help Smartly’s designers design better, faster, and with more joy.
